For many childcare owners, 2022 has been another year of high stress, labor shortages, and frustration. How will 2023 be different?
In most states, childcare business owners will continue to receive Stabilization Grants for all or part of 2023. The goal of the stabilization grants is to make individual childcare businesses and the industry as a whole—more stable. Unfortunately, I am concerned that the way some owners have used the funds and some of the state requirements for allocation of grant fund utilization will lead to a more financially unstable childcare business after the grant funds are gone.
If you want to learn more about using grant funds to make your childcare business more stable, please view the “Stabilization Grants” presentation on our website: www.solutions4childcare.com.
In this presentation and companion workbook, I share some great information and strategies for how you can use the stabilization grant funds to make your childcare business stronger, not weaker, how you can use the grant funds to improve your childcare business now and prepare for your childcare business’s financial stability after the grant funds are depleted. https://www.solutions4childcare.com/index/docs/child-care-specialization-grants-course/
